The South African volleyball team enthusiastically participated in the volleyball section of the WTG at the Valhalla Sports Centre. It was here that 11 nations were to compete for the gold medal. We arrived early to prepare for our first match which was against the USA A team. After that we played Argentina and Germany. All in all we put up a spirited performance and we were pleased with the way we fared.

2. 0-2 to Argentina
3. 0-2 to Germany

Silver - Hungary
Bronze - Argentina
