Golf - 19 & 21 June

The golf tournament was played at Hills Golf & Country Club. The South African golfers really put up a tremendous effort considering the tough course and chilly weather conditions. On Sunday 19 June the team event took place where a total of 47 teams participated.

The overall results for South Africa for the day went as follows:

Gold: Australia (58)

Silver: Ireland (61)

Bronze: Thailand (63)

On Tuesday 21 June the golf singles event took place. It was here that our golfing lady, Heilie Uys, won gold for South Africa!
